New Font Release Axia

Axia is a robust Sans Serif of concise letter forms with ten weights, published just before the end of 2012. The family’s main feature is comprised of harmonized line width of each, the Roman and Italic weights. Text set in Light or Black results in the same fit. Two Stencil Display weights with a unique aesthetic and perfect for captivating type sizes add further distinctive typographic options

Kontour Foundry Launch

We are enormously delighted to announce the launch of Kontour Type. Our initial retail library includes three collections, Axia, Elido and Odile, or close to 70 font products available for licensing and download. More type is in the works!

Workshop Typoclub Bern, Switzerland

Sibylle Hagmann was invited by the Typoclub of the Bern University of the Arts to lecture and hold a workshop with students. Fellow designers and faculty members Mika Mischler, Hansjakob Fehr, and Christoph Stähli Weisbrod provided a wonderful environment to create amazing work. The last day of the workshop was further marked by the first snowfall of the season.

Tokyo TDC 2012

The Tokyo TDC Exhibition 2012 displays the results of the 2012 Awards at the Ginza Graphic Gallery in Tokyo. The Elido typeface family is included in the exhibition that shows a total of 100 selected works. The annual book Tokyo TDC, Vol. 23 presents the results of the Annual Awards and features specimens of the typeface families Elido and Axia.

Typodarium 2013

Two days, Tuesday, September 3 and Saturday, November 16, set in Axia Stencil Black and Light were selected for inclusion in the 2013 Typodarium calendar.
