About Drawlogy
Drawlogy rekindles the passion for less structured form. Originally drawn at very small size in pen and ink, the series of 26 drawings in pursuit of unveiling various vaguely specified objects were transformed to digital font format. Hundreds of drawings were created over the past ten years (1999-2009) and a few were selected and enlarged for reproduction.
Drawlogy follows loosely the dingbat tradition and is issued as Giclée prints. Drawlogy glyphs–turned into icons–are printed on robust, 310g lightly textured fine art watercolor paper (Elegance Velvet) with the Epson 11880 and archival ultrachrome quality inks. Each Giclée print contains one drawing. The series is limited to an edition of 50.
