Visit Typographica and enjoy a nameplate currently set in Axia Stencil in tandem with Agenda from Greg Thompson. Following their tradition, nameplate rotating is one of Typographica’s rituals. So, hurry, check it out before it’s all gone!
Don’t miss out on picking up a limited edition series of four Risograph-printed Kopius type specimen posters, each 11" × 17", lovingly designed by Sibylle Hagmann; numbered and signed on the back. A special thank-you with the purchase of three+ fonts. Lasts until there are no more!
We are delighted to announce our alliance with Type Network. Kontour is now part of a group of independent foundries that pursue a mission “to find and support the best type and publish it for the best designers”. We look forward to a great partnership.
We are very pleased and excited to launch a brand new website! The redesign marks a stimulating next chapter for our foundry, and a much-improved way our fonts are presented and can be tested. Two thumbs up for Scott Orchard, a web developer whose expertise has been indispensable. Hope you like it as much as we do!
We are enormously delighted to announce the launch of Kontour Type. Our initial retail library includes three collections, Axia, Elido and Odile, or close to 70 font products available for licensing and download. More type is in the works!
The Rice School of Architecture commissioned Kontour to design a custom typeface family for exclusive use on-line and for print collateral. The college’s new logotype, designed by Sibylle Hagmann, is derived from the RSA typefaces. Renamed Axia, this typeface family will be released in the near future. The logotype sequentially animates into shape on the school’s website designed by Paul Kremer.
