Call for Type – New Typefaces / Neue Schriften

Axia has been included in an exhibition at the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Germany. Under the call “Call for Type – New Typefaces / Neue Schriften”, a selection of recent type designs have been chosen to be featured in the show. “Call for Type”, was organized by the Gutenberg-Museum Mainz (Dr. Annette Ludwig) and Institute Design Lab Gutenberg / Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Isabel Naegele, Prof. Dr. Petra Eisele in collaboration with students of the communication design programme. Tokyo TDC 2012

The Tokyo TDC Exhibition 2012 displays the results of the 2012 Awards at the Ginza Graphic Gallery in Tokyo. The Elido typeface family is included in the exhibition that shows a total of 100 selected works. The annual book Tokyo TDC, Vol. 23 presents the results of the Annual Awards and features specimens of the typeface families Elido and Axia.

RBMBKESHKM

The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis, MO, features work from Sibylle Hagmann represented together with fellow designers Roy Brooks, Mikey Burton, Kelly English, and Kindra Murphy in the exhibition RBMBKESHKM curated by Bruce Burton. On show from August 4 to August 29.

Swiss Federal Design Grant

The typeface family Odile received the Swiss Federal Design Awards 2006, “Selected—Awarded”, by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture. The awarded designs are presented in an accompanying catalog and an exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich, Switzerland, displays the selected works. The typeface family Odile was awarded before its public release and distribution.
