Lettering & Type: Creating Letters and Designing Typefaces, a publication Kontour was asked to contribute with examples of type design. The book includes a foreword by Ellen Lupton and is published by Princeton Architectural Press. Authored by Nolen Strals and Bruce Willen, the title promises to provide real-world perspective from contemporary type interested designers.

Sibylle Hagmann was invited to contribute to an article titled “Golden Age?” edited by Deborah Littlejohn in EYE magazine, 71. Littlejohn collected opinions from designers about whether we are in a golden age of type design. Used metaphorically, Littlejohn was interested in the type designer’s position, familiarity with recent technological innovations, as well as type education.
