Graphic #16 Winter
The Type Archive Issue features around 50 contemporary typefaces throughout 300 pages. Elido is one of the typefaces presented. The publication includes two books, one, a generously sized type specimen, and the other containing process and thoughts of each designer. Graphic is a quarterly design magazine published in Seoul, Korea.

Elido Initials were selected to show the date for April 5, and Elido Black for August 13. Typodarium's calendar makes for happy font days in 2011.

The Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis includes representational work of Kontour and Sibylle Hagmann with fellow designers Roy Brooks, Mikey Burton, Kelly English, and Kindra Murphy in the exhibition RBMBKESHKM curated by Bruce Burton. On show from August 4 to August 29.

Release of Odile Version 2.0 and Elido. Both typeface families include a wide range of stylistic sets. They are distributed by the type foundry Village.

AIGA St. Louis 15 Show
Sibylle Hagmann was invited to St. Louis, MO, to participate in selecting work standing out in excellence from their regional AIGA chapter for their 15 Show. It was a pleasure to meet folks from AIGA St. Louis and my fellow judges Petter Ringbom and Frank Chimero.
